Higgins is a pure bred Light Gray Flemish Giant. At this time (07/28/10) he/she is 11 weeks old and about 5 pounds. We are not 100% sure if this is a male or female, we are only going on the word of the owner that relinquished the rabbit to rescue that it is male and there is no development to indicate it is male at this young age. We should know better in a few more weeks. He/she will be available for adoption as soon as the appropriate age is reached for spay/neutering to occur. The potential new owners will be rigorously qualified beyond the usual standards for rabbit adoption for this rabbit. Please contact us if you are interested in applying to adopt this rabbit and to see if you are qualified.

Hannah & Buffy are young female sisters, approximately 10 months old at this time (March, 2010). They are friendly and accept attention, but they need some loving parents to spend some time with them. They are two of 3 babies that we took in when they were just 10 weeks old from someone that was not allowed to keep them in an apartment. They are not afraid of being picked up, but they do frequently fight it, as they want to run. They are well mannered, energetic bunnies that should do well for any family. No signs of aggression in any way from them. Hannah & Buffy are quite good with the litter box, and are spayed--ready for a forever home.

George is the white New Zealand, Gracie is a Rhinelander. George is just over 3 years old, while Gracie is about 2 years (ages as of June, 2010). George is fairly reserved, but Gracie is true to her breed and highly energetic. They were found at a shelter, outside in a hutch being sold for $5. They are a bit tentative with human interaction; while Gracie can be held and will cuddle sweetly, George is a bit aggressive and does not care for much contact. A little time and love will make these two a precious pair to own, as they are truly bonded to each other, just waiting for a good loving home. They are spay/neutered and doing very well with the litter box.

Paisley is a 2 year old female. Her owner was not able to take her when she moved, so she was left to live in an outside hutch until we came to her rescue. She is very loving, tolerates being picked up and held and is doing great with her litter box. She will be a great addition to most any family, but families with young children are cautioned, as she had a bad experience with children. We believe with a little time and effort, she will be great for anyone. She should do well with other animals, or as a companion bunny for a currently singe rabbit. She has been spayed and is ready to go.

This Sister and brother are very sweet and are perfect with their litter box. Although as different looking as any brother and sister can be, they are very similar in personality, with both being shy, but Rascal being the shyer of the two. Muffin looks just like her sisters and other brother, while Rascal is the only one with brown eyes and who doesn't have the Californian coloring. These two would do best in a home with no dogs, or if a dog is in the home, an older quieter dog. Both Muffin and Rascal enjoy being petted and are ok to be held for short periods of time. These two are waiting for just the right home, so please if you ever wanted a nice pair of rabbits, this could be the two who are perfect for you.
